Andy & Sylvie

We are an unlikely pairing from totally different backgrounds but between us we have the complimentary skills required to run our business effectively. We share a passion for exceptional customer service and are both present in the chalets throughout the winter, alongside Assistant Manager Joe and our handpicked seasonal crew. We are not ski bums looking to simply cover the cost of our own lift passes, but nor are we faceless tour operators in an ivory tower. Host Savoie was created in 2005 and more than a decade later it remains both our passion and our livelihood.

Responsible for - DIY problems, early starts, meet and greets (with exceptional briefings), general troubleshooting, stopping Andy going mad!

- Likes Scones with plenty of fruit, Diots (local sausage), Duvel (Belgium beer), Ben the dog.

Dislikes - Guacamole, rain, end of season, sunburn, kerbing his posh alloys.

Winter Jobs With Us

For All The Roles

Successful applicants will need to be available for the entire season (December to April) and eligible to work in France under a UK contract. You will need a UK bank account, National Insurance number and a full driving licence.

The following characteristics are vital for all positions on the team:

  • 1/ A keen eye for detail and pride in a job well done.
  • 2/ An ability to work well alone or with others, communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • 3/ A determination to prioritise customer service with a smile ahead of your own free time.

The different roles available for this Winter Season 2017-18

We found our Chalet Assistants and Front of House coordinator but we are still on the look out for Chalet Hosts.

Chalet Host Positions

You will be responsible for a chalet sleeping between 12 and 16 people and for the preparation and service of breakfast and evening meals 6 days a week.

You will be required to shop to a budget, cook delicious hearty meals with fresh local produce, keep your chalet spotlessly clean and comply with local hygiene laws.

Whilst formal cooking qualifications are not essential you do need to be a competent and experienced cook with experience in a commercial catering environment.
