The ski bus that stops at the end of the driveway will whisk you home from the slopes of Morzine or Avoriaz in 5 minutes and once you've dropped off your skis in the ground floor boot room our delicious homemade cakes await you upstairs!
Alternatively, you could change shoes and head straight back out to build a snowman or go sledging in the wide open spaces that surround the chalet!
This may appeal more to younger visitors whereas the suntrap terrace overlooking the river is the perfect spot for grown-ups to enjoy a cold beer whilst taking in the spectacular views of some of the highest peaks of the Chablais region.
A recently added sauna is ideal for soothing those aching limbs!
The owner of the chalet is a real craftsman and no expense has been spared on a beautiful interior that includes several bespoke pieces of furniture.
As the exertions of the day catch up with you, the soothing effect of the magnificent log-burning stove will do nothing to fend off the temptation to have a nap whilst our Chalet Host prepares a delicious 4 course evening meal!
The top floor of the chalet boasts a peaceful den area with extra seating and a second television, making it the ideal spot to read a book, catch up with some work courtesy of our free WiFi internet access, or to simply banish the kids when grown-ups want to enjoy their meal in peace!
All five bedrooms boast traditional Savoyard decor to give a perfect blend of homeliness, cosiness and ensuite facilities (either in the form of a traditional bathroom or a cabin-style wet room with showers).
The bedrooms are spread over all three floors of the chalet and in stark contrast to most recently constructed chalets they are all exceptionally spacious.
The quad and triple rooms contain all full-size single beds (no folding beds or bunks), making them suitable for families or groups of adults wishing to take advantage of our 3rd and 4th bed discounts.
