After a short hiatus an old favourite is back in the Host Savoie stable! In over a decade of operating this chalet we hosted thousands of people and when it became available again we didn't hesitate. 
                A cosy, spacious good value property within striking distance of the centre of Morzine makes a perfect base at any time of the year, so it is now also available for bookings between ski seasons!   
            
Chez Claude is a great addition to our new look chalet portfolio and sleeps up to 13 people in 5 bedrooms, making it ideal for large groups of friends or several families travelling together.

Chez Claude direct bus link to Prodains: From 31st March the route of the free ski bus to the Prodains Express is extended, resulting in a direct link from outside Chez Claude. It has never been easier to access the glorious high altitude slopes of Avoriaz 1800 and we still have the weeks commencing 30th March and 6th April available.

Chalet Chez Claude | Description

Chez Claude is ideally located near a free ski bus stop but also a flat walk from the centre of the resort, with bars, supermarkets, and restaurants all within easy reach. From its position high above the street, you will benefit from peace and quiet and spectacular views to the peaks of Ressachaux and Nantaux.

As we strive to offer total flexibility in our next generation chalet holidays the space will always be your own and your privacy respected. If you want to come and go without seeing us, that's fine! On the other hand you may prefer morning bakery deliveries, or perhaps even our flexi-catered upgrade with afternoon tea and evening meals to the door. For a real treat why not consider our Chef at Home option for a restaurant experience in the comfort of your own alpine retreat? Let us create your ideal holiday.

This traditional residence has been in the Baud family for generations and we love the cosy atmosphere that is sometimes lacking in a new build. The chalet benefits from South and East facing balconies as well as panoramic windows, making it easy to enjoy a glass of wine whilst you take in the vista or watch the snow fall. There is also a small sauna where you can relax those aching muscles after a busy day on the hill.

The digital coded entrance to the chalet is at street level, and upon entering you will find the ski room, which has a washing machine and heated racks to ensure you are not pushing cold toes into stiff boots every morning. The rest of the accommodation is upstairs and away from any street noise. Up on the first floor you will find the cosy living/dining area, where you can relax in comfy chairs and sofa in front of the beautiful log burning stove, or if you prefer you can head upstairs to the mezzanine to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV or catch up on your favourite shows. There are two dining tables that between them can seat all guests comfortably.

Two twin ensuite rooms are located on the same level as the living room, as well as the nicely equipped separate kitchen (ideal for everything from reheating our delicious flexi catered deliveries to a space for aspiring chefs to wow their fellow guests!). On the floor above and under the eaves there are 3 further bedrooms - a quad and a triple (both with ensuite facilities) and a small twin room without bathroom. This has access to the bathroom and WC on the floor below (next to the sauna).

We look forward to welcoming plenty more guests to Chez Claude in the coming years and expect it to be as popular now as it always was!

Chalet Chez Claude | Description - Location

At a nice distance from the centre of town Chez Claude is both convenient and peaceful. It is a 10 - 12 minute flat walk to the town centre but in that time you will pass a supermarket as well as several bars and restaurants. The nearest cable car is Super Morzine and that is located around 950m away, giving access to Avoriaz. The local Pleney slopes and ski school meeting points are on the other side of the pedestrianised town square and the two cable cars are linked by a road train.

With winter sports gear you will most likely prefer to catch the bus and both lines P and U run regularly past the chalet with a stop just 50m away. Either of these will take you to Super Morzine in just a couple of minutes or Pleney in 5 minutes. Getting home from apres ski is simple enough too with Line U running until 1930. There is ample off-street parking available for anyone bringing their own car.
