Renard Fou (or Mad Fox!) is a beautiful apartment within the coveted Chalet Brunes development on the sunny side of Morzine. Completed in 2018 it has since hosted many happy groups and families with the perfect combination of location and facilities.
From the balcony you can admire the views of Morzine town and the slopes of Nyon and Pleney beyond, but Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil are just as easily accessible from this first class mountain hideaway sleeping up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The contemporary and beautifully finished apartment ticks all of the boxes for people seeking space and convenience, and with our in-resort concierge service you can see as little or as much of us as you wish!
With the car safely tucked away in the garage you can catch the free bus from just down the road to access the cable cars on either side of the valley in just a few minutes. Upon your return your equipment can be stowed in the ground floor locker and the lift will take the strain for your weary ski legs! A modern and unique apartment awaits and the owners deserve credit for the stylish interior that is a million miles away from the all-too-familiar tired ski resort apartment.
Once inside the Renard Fou you will find two spacious bedrooms that can be arranged as king size doubles or twins. The master bedroom is ensuite with WC and a walk-in shower whilst the second bedroom benefits from a balcony. A second larger bathroom with walk-in shower ensures that there needn't be any queues! The open-plan living and dining space in this apartment is fantastic for up to four people with ample soft seating for everyone, a flat screen TV with Netflix and Nintendo Switch, a Marshall Bluetooth sound system. The compact kitchen area has everything you could need with full size oven and hob, integrated fridge-freezer (ideal for storing some gourmet ready meals from our friends at Bon Appetit Alpes) and even a Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
From the lounge a beautiful main South-West facing balcony can be accessed and you will never tire of the views over the town. We can't imagine many nicer spots for an apres ski glass of fizz whilst the sun sets over the slopes of the Pleney and the piste bashers get to work.

Renard Fou is in the Chalet Brunes development, on the sunny side of Morzine and near the start of the Vallee des Ardoisiers (the old slate mining valley that leads to Avoriaz). We have operated many chalets in this part of town and have always found the location to be very popular.
The best free ski bus in the area stops just 170 m away (2 minutes' walk) and you can swiftly access the Pleney or Prodain cable cars on either side of the valley. The bus runs every 7 minutes at key times and takes just 5 minutes to the cable cars.
The self-catered holiday gives ultimate flexibility and privacy and our starter pack is included at no extra cost. Local restaurants are plentiful and we can suggest so many favourites!
Our catering upgrades offer total convenience whether you simply want fresh bread and pastries each morning, or our Magic Meals Flexi-Catering upgrade with breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner delivered to the door. Lastly, why not treat yourself to our Chef at Home service whereby an experienced and talented chef will prepare your breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal whilst you concentrate on enjoying the slopes.
